COLOUR

A visual response to my own personal journey, learnings, struggles and successes from becoming a full-time food creative at the end of 2024 after years of juggling my photography and styling work with my role as a graphic designer.

Drawing inspiration from multiple creative fields including Fashion, Beauty and Fine Art, the project centres around carefully selected, black and white food subjects interpreted in bold and creative concepts. I wanted to explore the tones and shades that sit within these colours and how even within ourselves, our work and our feelings, nothing can ever truly be black and white.

Combining both my past and present passions and careers, and favouring craft over online content, COLOUR is presented in its entirety within a limited edition art book, designed and written by myself also (available here).
